Bapenda Opens Samsat Outlet at Aeon Mall Cakung

Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) collaborates with Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate, PT. Jasa Raharja, and Bank DKI to open samsat outlet in Aeon Mall Jakarta City Garden.

Jakarta Bapenda II Tax Revenue Division Head, Carto conveyed, the opening of samsat outlet is in line with rapid increase of motor vehicles in Jakarta. Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) itself is a source of regional income in addition to 12 other types of taxes in Jakarta.

"One of our efforts is to expand our service to reach taxpayers by providing samsat outlets in shopping centers," he mentioned, Wednesday (11/18).

Here is the Step to Pay Vehicle Taxes via Drive Thru

Samsat outlet that is located in Cakung, East Jakarta, serves annual PKB payments. This service is not only provided in East Jakarta area, but also in the entire Jadetabek area through Samsat Online 3 Provinces service in Polda Metro Jaya (DKI Jakarta, West Java, and Banten) area.

The purpose of opening this outlet is to unravel density in Samsat Induk. Thus Covid-19 health protocols can be implemented optimally.

As of November 17, 2020, PKB realization in Jakarta reached around Rp 6.8 trillion from total target Rp 8 trillion. While realization for vehicle-ownership transfer fee (BBNKB) reached around Rp 3.1 trillion from target Rp 3.7 trillion.

"This outlet is located on the basement 1 floor, area C. Hopefully we can facilitate taxpayers with professional, modern, and reliable vehicle tax service that can increase the local revenue," he stated.
